FLUSHING & SEPARATING THE LID

In this video, we’ll be carrying out quite possibly the scariest part of the entire project, separating the lid. This stage requires a lot of prep and is also a great time to focus on sanding and filling gaps around the box. Good luck!

Welcome to the scariest part of the project. In this lesson, I’ll be showing you how to use a router to cut a channel around the lid, before removing the remainder using a handsaw. Be sure to practice using a router before doing it for real!
