Series Summary
This 4 part series will show you how to make a beautiful bookstand containing an adjustable hinge and a variety of handcut joints. It’s a great way to begin delving into the craft of woodworking, mainly because of the limited tools it requires, and the inexpensive timber used.
The wood I used to make this project was sourced from a DIY and Home supplier. It’s nothing special, however provides a nice understated look once complete. Saying that, you could obviously make this bookstand from any timber you desire providing you’re able to source it. It also makes a great gift and can even double up as a tablet stand!
