Sanding The Cabinet

Lesson Objectives

Sanding is a process that can make or break your project. Effective sanding can make the piece feel nice to touch, bring out the contrast in the grain, and clean up the piece to look consistent and refined.

Poor sanding however will produce patchy marks after the finish has been applied. It will cause edges to become rounded, thus loosing the accuracy and crispness we have strived for, and worst of all, be complete irreversible.
