How to Rebate the Plinth

The plinth is the final part of the project to construct before sanding and finishing and it's quite a complicated part! It's purpose is to hide the plywood base of the box and finish off the bottom of the box neatly. Firstly, we will be cutting the long rebates. Then in later parts I will show you how to mitre the corners, attach it onto the box, and chamfer the edges.

How to Chamfer the Plinth

In this video, I show you how to chamfer the plinth after gluing it to the box. This is a step you can skip if you chose to create the chamfer before gluing it to the box, a method I detailed in the previous video.
